Purchased a Vauxhall insignia and did not use it for a few days after purchase when i move it of the drive noticed a large oil leek. so i called Merit and the man on the phone told me to get it accessed locally. (I Live in Liverpool) took it to a local garage they said who ever did the oil change did not tighten the oil filter housing and that was where the oil leak was, they tightened the housing and cleaned the oil of and charged £36.00. i called Merit explained all and the guy said no problem send me your bank details and ill refund you. so i text him my bank details, he never put the money in my account so i emailed him asking for the refund and again included my bank details. he has not put the money in my account nor has he replied to me. be careful dealing with this company as the warranty is not worth the paper. make sure you get the cat independently inspected better still spend your money elsewhere.
